Cybersecurity Podcasts Today, Executive Series
By Brian Lathrop, CISSP — Founder and Editor-in-Chief. Published February 2016. The v0 proof-of-concept corpus source for the CastingBridges v2026 platform.
"It took decades to realize the power of the printing press … Have you realized the power of podcasts yet?"
This February 2016 issue is the source-of-truth corpus for CastingBridges v0. The ten Executive Reviews featured in this issue — with their full Description, Learning Points (Q&A), and Answer Key — power the platform's flagship cybersecurity vertical. The 2016 issue shipped under fair-use editorial posture; the v0 Executive Reviews on this platform ship under the identical posture, until the first CastingBridges institutional partnership activates the provider-compensation flow.

Where this issue lived in 2016
www.cybersecuritypodcaststoday.com (now retired). The Executive Series ran monthly across 2016. A later issue of the same series — November 2016 — was adopted by a Middle Georgia cybersecurity professor as required course material for his students that term, modifying the CPE-hours column into academic points (1.0 hour → 100 points, 0.5 hours → 50 points). The five 2016–17 institutional-reception receipts CastingBridges carries into its 2026 launch posture cover the series broadly, not any single issue.
